What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

When visitors contact us via the form, we collect the data shown in the form as well as the visitor’s IP address.

We use this information to reply to you regarding your enquiry or to provide support for our plugin. We do not share this information with third parties or use it for marketing purposes. The data stored from the contact forms is deleted periodically (max. 1 year).

Cookies

We mostly use embedded videos from YouTube. They’re pretty reliable with their data handling so hopefully there is nothing to worry about.

When you install one of our premium plugins, we track some information about your website environment. More specifically, when you activate the plugin with your license, we send the following data to our server once:

This data is stored in our database so we can keep track of when you’ve reached your allowed activation limit (as per your license features).

Aggregated or De-Identified Information: we may share information that has been aggregated or reasonably de-identified, so that the information could not reasonably be used to identify you. For instance, we may publish aggregate statistics about the use of our services, de-identified screenshots or de-identified code snippets.

How long we retain your data

If you make a purchase, we retain your order details for at least 8 years – for accounting purposes.

Your profile information, which is created upon purchasing a product on our site, will be kept indefinitely (unless you request us to remove it).

Finally, we keep Google Analytics and other tracking data indefinitely, to allow for a smooth running of our business and compare analytics trends over the years.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Your payment information is directly taken care of by our 3rd-party payment processor Paddle. They require payment details (credit card or PayPal) and your email address.
